Hoverboard Danger!

Units from Bryans Road Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad Inc. and surrounding companies responded to a report of smoke in the basement of a Bryans Road residence. Units found a fire involving a battery operated hoverboard. Crews removed the hoverboard and checked for extension.... (Full Story & Photos)

Help Stop Substance Abuse!

On June 27th, for the second time in four days, and third time this year, our members have successfully revived a person in the parking lot of the station. On all three of these incidents, people have been brought to the station not breathing because of an apparent opiate overdose. Indian Head Avenue Fire

PHVFD&RS, May 15

On May 15th, Rescue Squad 7 was alerted to a house fire on Indian Head Ave. The Rescue Squad arrived on the scene as the first due special service and performed searches, threw ladders, opened up for the engine companies, ventilated and overhauled. Collision with Entrapment Training
