On December 21st, Rescue Squad 7, Tanker 7 and Chief 7 responded to Chicamuxen Rd. for the house fire. Units arrived on the scene and found a two story home with fire throughout the 2nd floor. Squad 7 reported to the 2nd floor to perform a search which proved to be negative. After a short evacuation, crews regrouped and re-entered the structure to extinguish the fire and perform salvage and overhaul. Tanker 7 dumped several loads of water. Our condolences to the family involved as they lost everything before the holidays.
