Just before 12:30, Potomac Heights VFD&RS was alerted to a possible structure fire in Wilder Court in the South Hampton neighborhood of Bryans Road. Chief 7B and Engine 73 responded with a crew of 5 to assist Bryans Road VFD&RS, Naval District Washington, and Indian Head VFD&RS. A small fire was located in the kitchen on the stove that extended to the microwave above and was quickly extinguished.
